This month, we pulled back the curtain to celebrate just a few of the remarkable people who make MoxiWorks what it is.
Cass Herrin, Director of Data Services, 27 Years at MoxiWorks
Of course, we have to start with our longest-standing team member, Cass Herrin. He began his journey back when we were Windermere Technology and has been here through every step of our evolution into MoxiWorks.
Over the years, he’s played a key role in expanding our MLS footprint from 8 to more than 700. A milestone that helped make MoxiWorks one of the largest repositories of real estate data in North America today.
When asked about the best advice he’s ever received, Cass put it simply: “You can’t define a solution until you have defined the problem and the desired outcome.”
Elise Mattson, Director of Creative Services, 24 Years at MoxiWorks
Did you know one of our employees once made a sandwich for Prince? Yes, that Prince.
Elise has been with MoxiWorks for 24 years, starting back in 2001 at Impress. Today, as our Director of Creative Services, she’s known for turning tough client challenges into success stories.
One of her proudest achievements was leading the transition from Imprev to the MoxiWorks Suite. Even without knowing every detail, Elise dove in headfirst, embraced the learning curve, and showcased the full potential of our products.
She also credits NASH training with shaping her leadership style - learning how to navigate tough conversations, understand different perspectives, and empower her team to grow.
Alex Grummer, Senior Software Engineer, 16 Years at MoxiWorks
Alex is our Senior Software Engineer who also happens to be a professional photographer. When he’s not coding, he’s behind the camera, shooting everything from sports to real estate.
He joined MoxiWorks in 2019 through the Imprev acquisition and loves building tools that help agents get more people into their dream homes.
Dawn McLellan, Director of Education, 15 Years at MoxiWorks
“Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”
That’s the advice our Director of Education, Dawn, brings to her work every day. Since joining MoxiWorks in 2013, she’s grown from tech support into a leadership role where she helps agents unlock the full power of technology.
Her proudest moments are the lightbulb flashes when learning clicks and tech becomes more than pushing buttons – it becomes a tool for confidence and success. Outside of work, Dawn calls herself a “situational extrovert.” She loves connecting with people, but also treasures quiet time with tea and a good book.
Michael Dobrovoljni, Director of Platform Engineering, 10 Years at MoxiWorks
We have a royal Moxian among us. Michael is our Director of Platform Engineering, and he’s been with MoxiWorks for over 10 years. His great-grandmother was family to royalty in old-world Croatia!
Michael has guided our tech stack through an acquisition and grown into a trusted leader along the way. What drives him most is the team — talented colleagues who push each other to be better every day.
