Plant the seeds for a more fruitful Summer selling season

Top things to know this month:  

  1. There were 402K closed transactions across the U.S. in March, a 19% increase from February
  2. The HSP model predicts 381K home sales in April and 432K in May
  3. We’ve seen this seasonal dip between April and May three of the last four years so nothing to be concerned about.

You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers…and apparently a pretty significant increase in home sales. The Home Sales Predictor model is showing there will be 381K homes sold across the U.S. in April and a 13% increase in May to 432K home sales.

We looked back at the historical data and this is a common seasonal trend that we’ve seen three out of the last four years (2021 was an anomaly of a year for just about everything). Guess everyone is back to enjoying their Spring breaks 🏝️.

That 13% increase in home sales from April to May means more agents are out there doing presentations to help them win listings. That’s how our Home Sales Predictor model works.
